Sheriff's deputies in Yates County have identified the victim in a fiery crash that killed a driver in Dresden.
It happened around 10 a.m. yesterday when the speeding car went off a bridge on Route 14, landed near the Keuka Outlet stream, hit a tree and burst into flames.
Deputies say 37-year-old James Hayes of Penn Yan was killed. He was the subject of a missing person case reported earlier in Jerusalem.
First responders had to use All Terrain Vehicles to get to the crash scene.
Investigators say the crash may have been deliberate.
