State Liquor Authority Out With New Restrictions on Activities at Bars

The State Liquor Authority is out with new restrictions on activities at bars to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

The news rules ban dancing, karaoke and playing darts, cornhole and pool.

The ban on dancing includes dancing at wedding receptions at party halls that serve alcohol.

Violations of the rules could result in loss of a liquor license.

The restrictions follow word this week that bars can no longer promote live music. Music must be only incidental for people eating at tables.
