Webster, Victor Schools Confirm They've Submitted Reopening Plans

Governor Cuomo today identified Webster Central and Victor Central as two of the districts that failed to submit reopening plans to the state. Both districts say this afternoon that they actually submitted their plans last month, and today received email confirmation from the State Health Department.

Superintendent Carmen Gumina of Webster Central says by Twitter that his district submitted its plan July 30th, and got confirmation of that today from both the Health Department and State Health Commissioner Howard Zucker.

Victor Central says in a statement that it got an email this morning saying it had failed to submit a plan. Victor Central says its plan was submitted July 31st, and has been posted on its website since then where it has gotten significant feedback from the public. It says the internal state verification system is being rectified.
