Officers are reporting that a man is dead following what police say is a hit-and-run incident around 3 AM.
It happened on Union Street North close to the intersection with Kenilworth Terrace in Rochester.
The man was taken to Strong Hospital where he later died. The unknown vehicle fled the scene before police arrived and has not been located.
an Officers say the area will remain closed for at least another 2 hours while their investigation continues.
