Murder Defendant Released Without Bail Requirement

A Rochester man indicted this week in a June homicide has been released from jail without a bail requirement.

Randall Scott is one of two men charged with second degree murder in the June shooting death of Parris Washington on Bardin Street.

A judge yesterday allowed Scott to remain free while he awaits trial, but Scott must wear an electronic monitoring device.

Prosecutors argued unsuccessfully that bail be set for Scott.

Scott's lawyer argued Scott is not a flight risk.
