The Humane Society of Greater Rochester is looking for the person responsible for killing a cat with a firework.
They say someone lit the firework and put it inside the cat's rectum, allowing it to explode.
The feline, named Buttercup, was found on Grand avenue and had to be euthanized.
A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the identity of the cat's killer.
