A Monroe County Legislator says Representative Joe Morelle tried to get her fired from her job at Rochester Institute of Technology, and wants Morelle to resign.
Sabrina LaMar says she appeared on Brighton Town Councilmember Robin Wilt’s Facebook Live to talk about a program aimed at cutting down gun violence, while Wilt was running against Morelle in the 25th Congressional Seat Democratic Primary.
LaMar says the appearance was not political, but says Morelle called her RIT supervisor to have her fired.
Lamar has filed a complaint with the House Ethics Committee.
