Two people were shot in Rochester's East End early this morning as police broke up a large crowd that had gathered at East Avenue and Alexander Street in the bar district.
Police say numerous rocks and bottles were thrown at police, leading to the arrest of a 24-year-old city woman.
While police were breaking up the crowd, there were two shooting incidents, both still under investigation. A 25-year-old man and a 42-year-old man were struck by gunfire; both are recovering.
