A arrest has been made in a shooting on Chili Avenue Thursday night.
Police say a 43-year-old woman was shot once in the upper body at around 7:30 by 46-year-old William Combs.
Combs then allegedly threatened a responding officer with the gun, before throwing it down and fleeing the scene on foot.
Police were able to arrest Combs after a brief foot chase.
Combs is charged with Assault Shooting, Menacing a Police Officer, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.
The victim is listed in stable condition at URMC.
