The victim of last night's fatal shooting in Rochester has been identified.
Police say 22-year-old Shaqur Nesmith was gunned down near the intersection of Jay and Orchard Streets at around 7 o'clock.
Nesmith suffered one gunshot wound to the lower torso, and was pronounced dead shortly after being taken to Strong Memorial Hospital by private vehicle.
