Congressman Chris Jacobs is now officially representing the 27th District, and he'll be plenty busy in the months ahead. Jacobs was sworn-in by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi yesterday and will be serving on both the House Agriculture Committee and House Budget Committee. Jacobs, a Republican, is also going to be involved in a battle to keep his seat since he's being challenged for it in November by Democrat Nate McMurray. The two squared off in a primary last month with Congressman Jacobs coming out on top.
