Former McQuaid Jesuits, Teacher Sued for Allegedly Abusing Students

A lawsuit accuses two Jesuit priests and a teacher of abusing former students at McQuaid Jesuit High School in the 1970's and 1980's.

Attorneys for the law firm of Jeff Anderson and Associates have filed 14 child sexual abuse suits under New York's Child Victims Act against the religious order. They charge Father Harry Untereiner, Father James Curry and teacher John Tobin with sexually molesting children at the high school. The court paperwork says the children were between the ages of 14 and 17 at the time.

The incidents involving Untereiner and Tobin allegedly happened between 1978 and 1980; Curry allegedly abused a victim from 1974-to-1977.

The deadline for filing such complaints under the law is coming up in less than a month.
