MCC Shares Reopening Plans

Monroe Community College says the state has signed off on its fall reopening plan. MCC says it will resume on-campus operations and activities in early August with a mix of face-to-face and online instruction.

Reopening will happen in phases, starting this week and running through the spring semester. In the fall, students will choose from a variety of long-distance learning options, plus more than 200 on-campus courses and labs.

The fall academic calendar is unchanged, and runs from August 26th to December 16th. No decision has been made yet on when sports will resume.

MCC will require face coverings and social distancing, and an MCC ID to enter the campuses. Classroom and lab densities will be adjusted for social distancing.
