Enforcement teams are now present at New York state's airports to make sure travelers arriving from hot spot states furnish personal information.
Governor Cuomo is warning that visitors from states seeing spikes in coronavirus cases, pose a very real threat to the Empire State. He's issued an order requiring travelers from those states to disclose where they are coming from and where they are going along with contact information for tracing purposes.
If travelers at airports fail to do so, they can face a two-thousand-dollar fine and could also be subject to mandatory quarantine.
More states were added to the travel advisory list yesterday.
