Racist Graffiti Found on Perinton Apartment Complex

Authorities are trying to determine who's responsible for racist graffiti at a Perinton apartment complex.

Someone used spray-paint overnight to draw a swastika and write the n-word and KKK at The Pines of Perinton.

The graffiti was spotted this morning on the outside walls at the leasing office.

More graffiti was found on a nearby business and on a home in the Village of Fairport.

Homeowners in the neighborhoods near Whitney Road are being asked to check their security camera video for any images of suspicious people or activity.

Governor Cuomo has directed the State Police Hate Crime Task Force to investigate. Cuomo says the hateful language -- in his words -- was written by cowards who only seek to divide and instill fear in our communities.
