State Thruway Authority: Paving Project between Exit 57A and 58 Finished

Drivers who take the Thruway through Seneca Nation territory are going to find a much smoother ride.

The State Thruway Authority says a paving project between Exit 57-A and Exit 58 has officially wrapped up. For years, drivers complained that the road was in horrible shape and in desperate need of repairs.

There were even some spots where the speed limit was lowered from 65-miles-per-hour to 45-miles-per-hour. The total cost of the project was just shy of 21 million dollars.
