After months of waiting, residents of the 27th Congressional District will finally get to choose who represents them today.
Republican State Senator Chris Jacobs is taking on Democrat Nate McMurray to see who finishes the term of ex-Republican Congressman Chris Collins. He pleaded guilty to insider trading charges.
Jacobs is also involved in the Republican primary for a full term in the seat and is being challenged by Beth Parlato and Erie County Comptroller Stefan Mychajliw.
