Summer road work begins Monday on RT 490,

Summer road work begins Monday on 490, with left lane closures both ways between Clinton Ave and Goodman St. A crew will be repairing the bridges over 490 carrying traffic on Averill Avenue and Meigs Street. The project will extend the lives of the bridges and make them safer. Additional shoulder and ramp closures may be needed to finish the work. The work will take about two months and drivers can expect minor travel delays.
