Additional charges have been filed following a shooting last month in Rochester.
Police say Darien Govan is now facing charges of attempted murder and assault in connection with the shooting near the intersection of Roycroft Drive and Carter Street on May 28th.
The victim was shot in the face and was treated at Rochester General for serious but non-life threatening injuries. Govan was arrested after police saw him walk into Pulaski Park with a handgun and was initially charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
