Rochester Man Charged in Home Invasion Robberies

A 25-year-old Rochester man is facing federal charges for his role in two Rochester home invasion robberies. Federal prosecutors charged Jefery Steadman-Loyd with carrying a gun while committing a crime of violence.

Steadman-Loyd and two other men allegedly held up homes on Avenue E and Wellington Avenue in Rochester, looking for money and drugs. The occupants were threatened with knives and a gun. Also charged were co-defendants Robert Forbes, Jr. and Eric Lowe.
