Man Killed From Shots Fired Into Crowd

Rochester police say a city man was killed when someone fired shots at a crowd of people on a street corner in the Maplewood neighborhood.

It happened around 7:40 last night when the 20-year-old man was shot near Dewey and Magee avenues.

He died at the hospital.

Police someone not part of the group fired the shots, but its not clear if the shooter was on foot or in a car.

And police say it appears the victim was not the intended target of the shooting.

No one has been arrested.

It's the city's 12th homicide this year.
