RPD: Suspicious Death Off Monroe Ave A Homicide

Rochester police say a suspicious death last night on the city's southeast side was, in fact, a homicide.

The name of the dead man in his 50s has not been released, but police say his killing was not a random act.

He was found dead around 8:45 last night at 30 Boardman Street, off Monroe Avenue.

The death is the city's 11th homicide this year.

No one has been arrested.
