Senator Chuck Schumer is furious about the flood of questionable coronavirus "cures" on the marketplace. He told the New York Post that 'fake scammers' behind everything from music therapy, high-dose vitamin C injections and Chinese herbal remedies to electromagnetic shields are now 'infecting the market " and need to be punished for taking advantage of vulnerable people during a desperate time.
The Senator is urging the government to apprehend the scammers, adding all the FTC has done is send letters which he equates to little more than a slap on the wrist.
