For parts of New York state, there's light at the end of the coronavirus tunnel, with reopening a possibility in those regions on Friday.
There are seven metrics which Governor Cuomo will use in assessing the locations, including current COVID-19 hospitalization rates, and the number of deaths.
The level of new hospitalizations has returned to the level from mid-March.
