Most of the 18 coronavirus deaths in Orleans County involved people connected to one nursing home in Albion.
State Assemblyman Steve Hawley says local, state and federal agencies are investigating the deaths.
The state health department says a surprise inspection last month found the nursing home was in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
But Hawley believes more investigations are necessary.
