RCSD Likely To Hire Previous Brockport Central Superintendemt

There are reports former Brockport School Superintendent Leslie Myers-Small will be Rochester's new school superintendent, replacing Terry Dade -- who resigned after just ten months on the job.

Myers-Small is currently working in the State Education Department.

School District Officials are not commenting and there's no word when she starts in Rochester.

State Assemblyman Harry Bronson says her experience with the state working to reorganize struggling school districts makes her exceptionally qualified to be Rochester's next superintendent.

But Bronson says the district still needs an independent monitor appointed by the state, preferably as soon as possible.
