Gov Cuomo: Online Learning May Be A New Normal

Governor Cuomo says remote learning could become a permanent part of life for New York students. Kids and teachers have been taking part in online classes since March after they were removed from schools in an effort to slow the spread of coronavirus.

The governor said yesterday the state is looking into how to improve remote learning in the future and has teamed up with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to come up with ideas. The governor also says reopening schools after the pandemic will be a major undertaking and that new policies and procedures will be needed.
