Federal and local authorities have concluded a four-year investigation into a big local drug trafficking ring with charges against 15 people.
The arrests came after a series of raids at 23 locations in Rochester, Henrietta, Ogden, Irondequoit, Greece and Penfield.
Informants told investigators JanCarlos Gonzalez-Rivera -- also known as 'Los' -- was the biggest heroin dealer in the area. He became a person of interest in 2016 when his half-brother was shot to death and drugs were found at the dead man's apartment.
13 WHAM reports one of the others charged, Lateef Budd, is the suspected gunman in the shooting back in November outside the Barrel of Dolls strip club in Rochester.
