The Monroe County Department of Health says there are 40 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 from Monday afternoon to Tuesday afternoon...with three new deaths since Monday. More than 130 Monroe County residents have now died of the disease.
There have been a total of just under 1,600 cases. The number of people hospitalized continues a slow decline. It's now down to 98 people, with just 17 of them in the ICU. More than 800 people have had the disease and recovered.
