An arrest has been made following a break in at Flower City Traders on Lyell Avenue early this morning.
Gates Police say 40-year-old Robert Hizer threw a rock through the front glass window, then entered the business and stole a flat screen TV off the wall.
Police took him into custody after they were called to the area of Lyell Avenue and Matilda Street for the report of a man breaking out a car window.
Police say Hizer has a lengthy criminal history, including three past felony convictions and is currently on parole.
Hizer was arraigned via SKYPE and released with a new court date.
