The Monroe Count Department of Health says there are 49 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 since Wednesday afternoon's update...and 5 more people have died over the past 24 hours of the disease for a total of 62. More than 930 people have been infected.
There are currently 96 people hospitalized, 35 of them in the ICU. And more than 500 patients who had the disease have recovered.
