The Ontario County Department of Health confirms that two residents of that county are dead of the COVID-19 disease. Both were being cared for at the Ontario Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare.
Officials say one man was being treated for COVID-19 and died suddenly at FF Thompson Hospital. The other person was very ill, and was being given comfort care at the rehab center. Both the Ontario County and State Health Departments are working with the rehab center to minimize the spread of the virus there.
