Rochester police have charged a city man with the attempted robbery of the People's Choice Kitchen on Brooks Avenue back in December.
They say 28-year-old Kashbi Sanders tried to hold the restaurant up with a gun, but he was tackled by a Good Samaritan. Both men fell through the front window and the suspect ran.
Police developed information leading to Sanders, and charged him with attempted robbery, assault and criminal possession of a weapon. An authorized search of his home turned up the gun. He remains in Jail.
