Golf Courses Not Expected To Open Until At Least April 29

Golfers across the state are going to have to wait a few weeks to hit the links again. New guidelines issued by Empire State Development yesterday say golf courses are now considered non-essential businesses and must remain closed until April 29th.

Courses that had already opened for the season were allowed to operate so long as strict social distancing measures were in place. They included a minimum gap between players and carts are only allowed to be used by one person.
