Cuomo: Hospital Admissions Begin to Drop Downstate

Governor Cuomo says New Yorkers are definitely flattening the curve...and he called for them not to take their foot off the gas now.

Cuomo says more than 7,800 New Yorkers are dead of COVID-19...more than twice as many as lost their lives on 9/11. But he says it's much better than it could have been according to projections that New York might need 130,000 hospital beds. He said hospital admissions have begun to dip. He says social distancing, hand washing and sheltering at home have made the difference...and also the fact that people followed the recommendations.

Cuomo says we've avoided the worst...and will keep doing so if people stick with what they've learned.
