Now that the June Regents exams are canceled, the State Education Department has modified the requirements that students must meet in order to earn high school diplomas, credentials, and endorsements.
The modifications apply to all students who were intending to take one or more June exams.
Those students will be exempted from passing the exams in order to get a diploma, as long as they earned course credit or do so this summer in summer school.
