The Wayne County Sheriff's Office says a deputy has tested positive for coronavirus. Sheriff Barry Virts says seven deputies have been furloughed as a result and are being monitored by the Wayne County Department of Health.
Macedon police have also had to furlough three officers who were in contact with the deputy.
Sheriff Virts says road patrol functions are continuing without alteration at this time.
