The National Rifle Association is planning to sue the state of New York over its decision to deem gun retailers as non-essential businesses.
The classification makes them subject to closure during the pandemic.
State Attorney General Letitia James issued a statement that everyone must follow the law and all executive orders of New York.
She added that New York will aggressively defend against yet another legal assault by the NRA.
