The City of Rochester is adjusting the hours of its R-Center Meal Distribution Sites for Holy Week.
On Good Friday, April 10th, R-Centers will hand out meals only from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. For the rest of the week, and from Monday on, the regular hours will be 8:00 to 5:30. City officials say very few people have been coming by to pick up meals in the evenings, so they're shortening the hours. Selected R-Centers and schools have been handing out meals in the city since the schools closed down.
