With so many unemployed New Yorkers during the coronavirus outbreak, there's major concern as the first of the month approaches and rent is due.
Some local politicians are proposing rent breaks, along with additional needs of support, for tenants but so far no deal has been made. Meantime, some landlords feel help should go both ways, adding they should get a break in taxes, if they're giving tenants a break in paying rent.
