Governor Cuomo says the number of coronavirus cases are still on an upward slope, with 75,000 identified throughout the state and over 1,500 deaths attributed to the disease.

Cuomo says the gathering of equipment, adding of staff, and expansion in hospital space is all in anticipation of the peak in terms of patients, which could come anywhere in the next 15 to 30 days.
Cuomo says its important to gear up now for the battle ahead, and is asking people to accept the uncertainty of the timeline.
