Gov. Cuomo Wants 'Adjustable' State Budget

Governor Cuomo says the ongoing coronavirus crisis will have a major impact on New York's bottom line.

The state was already facing a multi-billion-dollar shortfall ahead of next Wednesday's budget deadline, but the pandemic has raised even more questions about the Empire State's financial future.

The governor is asking lawmakers to approve a budget that his administration can periodically adjust throughout the year.

However, members of the Legislature have said they'd like to be involved in any budget changes.
