The Governor of Florida is trying to discourage people from New York and New Jersey from traveling to the Sunshine State.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis says anyone who flies from New York or New Jersey must be placed on mandatory self isolation for 14 days upon arrival.
New York has the highest number of coronavirus cases in the country, and DeSantis says they've seen a spike in New York area residents flocking to Florida following tight restrictions to stay home unless for essential purposes.
