Debt Collection Delayed For 30 Days

In response to the coronavirus Governor Cuomo and Attorney General Letitia James say the State will stop collection of medical and student loans owed to the state for at least the next 30 days.

After that, the AG's Office will reassess the situation and decide if a possible extension is needed.

They will also accept applications for suspension of other debts and fees owed to the state.
