Rochester Police Arrest 3 Suspects in String of Armed Robberies

Rochester police say they've made three arrests, solving a string of armed robberies connected with an App called "LetGo." The robbers were arranging through the App to meet people who had items to buy or sell, then robbing them when they showed up at the agreed-on meeting place.

Police began investigating the robberies in December, and this week they identified one of the suspects. They determined that he and other possible suspects lived at 340 East Ridge Road. On Friday, patrol officers and a SWAT team executed a search warrant at that address and took three young males into custody, ages 12, 14 and 17. All three juveniles were charged with Robber and Grand Larceny. More charges are expected, as police believe the three suspects may have been involved in as many as eight armed robberies involving "LetGo."
