New visitor restrictions at area hospitals are being put into place because of concerns surrounding the coronavirus.
Rochester Regional Health is enhanced visitor restrictions and visitor screenings beginning today at noon.
That means access to all hospitals including Rochester General and Unity Hospital will be limited to designated entrances and they will be staffed to screen visitors.
Officials say no visitors will be permitted in their skilled nursing facilities, and all volunteer programs have been put on hold.
