The Rochester Riverside Hotel downtown has been sold, and the deal is expected to close on Monday.
The hotel is currently owned by CMS Management and operated by Hyatt.
The sale means events scheduled after Monday will be moved -- including the annual St. Patrick’s Day Celtic Faire. That celebration on March 14 will move to the Hilton Garden Inn.
The City of Rochester's ROC the Riverway project called two years ago for the Riverside Hotel to be demolished and replaced with a new hotel.
