There are no confirmed Coronavirus cases here in Monroe County -- but Monroe County officials are talking about preparations ahead of a possible outbreak.
County Public Health Commissioner Dr. Michael Mendoza and Director of Human Resources Andrea Guzzetta released a statement today saying they are in the midst of reviewing the county’s benefits policies and collective bargaining agreements.
They also say they are advising other departments on the best ways to prevent and control infection within the workforce, and are calling on other area businesses to take similar steps.
