U.S. Marshals are searching for a man who walked away from a halfway house in Rochester February 16.
James Timpanaro pleaded guilty last year to a bomb hoax in the fall of 2018.
He planted fake bombs on consecutive days outside a police station and a post office in Buffalo.
He is suspected in another threat recently directed at someone in Buffalo.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
