A Rochester man has been found guilty of charges he strangled and sexually assaulted a vulnerable adult.
The Monroe County DA’s office says 22-year-old Delijah Jackson was living at a group home while on parole last summer and lured a vulnerable housemate off-site and sexually assaulted that person.
He was convicted during a bench trial of strangulation, three counts of criminal sexual act and sexual abuse. He is a repeat violent offender and faces at least ten years in prison.
He will be sentenced March 9th. He will also have to register as a sex offender.
